Sculpture and Circular Economy:

Searching for coherence and constantly concerned by my environmental impact, I carve my sculptures in blocks of marble, granite and alabaster destined to be dumped. I often carve in old tombstones, forgotten stones or "waste'" blocks. Of course, this requires a very specific know-how, as these stones have suffered from time, knocks and frost... but it's an ethical, technical and aesthetic choice. #REUSE-REDUCE-RECYCLE

There you are, finally done. This sculpture addresses the tormented times we’ve been going though, our impact on planet earth and how we interact with her.  Furthermore, she addresses the scars we all carry on our souls. The scars that we usually preferer hiding even though their presence makes us more human. She addresses the different life steps taken from our birth until our death. Where does the rock finish and where does the woman start?
